Tanmay Foundation is founded by Desh Deepak Sharma and Nandita Sharma in the loving memory of their only child Tanmay Sharma. Tanmay’s life-journey came to an abrupt end after a short illness on 30th July 2023. He was just 25 years old and had recently joined Deloitte after completing his MBA from Dehradun. He was a bright student and an affectionate son which brought light and happiness in the lives of his parents. Desh Deepak worked as an Asia head for a reputed Belgian company and was posted in Dehradun at that time. He has lived in Lucknow, Chandigarh, Bangalore and many other places before settling down in Dehradun. Tanmay’s untimely demise has created a void in the lives of Desh Deepak and Nandita Sharma and they are filling this loss by lighting the lives of hundreds of underprivileged children by giving them opportunities through Tanmay foundation.
